Ingredients

Ground Beef

White Onions

Ketchup

Mustard

Sesame seed bun (or plain burger bun)

Pickles

American Cheese

Butter

Salt

Pepper

MSG

Directions

Step 1

1. Season a big handful of 80-20 Ground beef with a teaspoon of Salt, Pepper, and MSG.

Step 2

2. Mix the seasoned beef and form patty shapes.

Step 3

3. Heat a pan on medium heat and drizzle half a tablespoon of neutral oil (like Avocado Oil).

Step 4

4. Place the patties in the hot pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until they easily come off the pan.

Step 5

5. Put a slice of American Cheese on top of each patty and let it melt for another 3-4 minutes.

6. Meanwhile, add a tiny bit of butter to both sides of the bun and place them in the same pan until they turn golden brown.

Step 7

7. Cut a white onion in half, remove both ends, peel it, and thinly slice it.

Step 8

8. On the top bun, spread a tiny bit of ketchup and mustard, and add a small handful of sliced onions.

Step 9

9. On the bottom bun, place the cooked patty and add pickles.

Step 10

10. Assemble the burger by putting the top and bottom buns together.
