Directions
Step 1
Prepare Pancake Batter: Prepare the pancake batter according to the package instructions. If needed, adjust the consistency by adding a bit more water. Aim for a batter that pours easily but isn't too runny.
Step 2
Heat the Pan: Place a pan on medium heat. Once hot, add a tiny bit of neutral oil.
Step 3
Cook Pancakes: Pour about ⅓ cup of batter for each pancake into the pan. Drizzle maple syrup on the top side of each pancake. After about 3-4 minutes, flip the pancakes. Place a slice of American cheese on one of the pancakes and let them cook for an additional 3-4 minutes. Remove from pan.
Step 4
Prepare Eggs: Crack two eggs into a bowl. Add salt, pepper, and MSG to taste, and whisk well.
Step 5
Cook Bacon: Cook the bacon slices to your preference, then remove from pan and clean out any burnt bits.
Step 6
Make Omelette: In the same pan on medium heat, add the whisked eggs. Gently push the eggs inwards from the sides of the pan until no runny egg remains, to create a fluffy omelette. Fold the sides of the omelette to square it up.
McGriddle Assembly:
Step 1
Cut the bacon slices in half.
Step 2
Place the bacon pieces on the pancake with cheese.
Step 3
Add the omelette on top of the bacon.
Step 4
Cap it off with the second pancake.
